A Client Relationship Manager role has become available and it represents an outstanding opportunity for a strong negotiator with drive and passion to make their mark.
In this key role your objective will be to maximise revenue from strategic client accounts in order to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Consulting with the Sales Manager to formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans and account plans to achieve sales revenue/sales quota targets.
- Acting as the main interface between the client and the organisation to ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seeking the opportunity to participate in client's strategic business planning processes.
- Understanding the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes and forming long term business partnerships.
- Regularly proactively reporting actual client account performance to budget, with variance analyses and revised projections.
- Negotiating major deals, maintaining constant contact with clients and identifying opportunities for business improvements.
- Co-ordinating the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and Account Management plans.
- Planning and directing the activities of a team of Sales Account Managers within the business providing leadership and strategic direction.
- Monitoring competitors' sales and product strategies, campaigns and events to optimise market share.
- Identifying sales opportunities for other Salmat businesses
You will have:
- Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at a strategic level.
- Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
- Appreciation of the value/importance of the accounts, coupled with the ability to balance the needs of the organisation and the client.
- Strong ability to motivate and manage Account Managers.
- Ability to consistently strive to achieve set goals through the application of high work standards.
- Ability to accept & manage a changing environment.
- 8-10 years sales experience.
- May possess relevant tertiary qualifications.
This role may involve some interstate and state travel and occasionally there will be a requirement to work additional hours in order to meet deadlines. As a part of the role, there may be a requirement to complete an Australian Taxation Office and Federal Police Security check.
