As part of this growth, they are currently in the process of adding head count to their National Sales Team and as a result there is the opportunity for an experienced and accomplished Field Sales Manager to join their QLD team.
Job Description
This role is a key people management role, coaching and developing a team of sales representatives. The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for the contributed delivery of state revenue through the effective deployment and management of your field team. Ensuring that close relationships are maintained with other internal functions and stakeholders, you will ensure that in field execution develops in line with the national strategic plan. A relatively autonomous role spent mostly in the field, you will take responsibility for developing a high performing and collaborative culture within your team.
The Successful Applicant
With a strong FMCG background, you will be looking to further your career in this leadership sales role. With a positive and collaborative approach, it is essential that you have highly developed communication, negotiation and influencing skills. You will ideally be in either an FMCG Sales Manager or a Sales Manager from a fast paced industry looking to join a high growth business with an unrivaled culture. The ideal candidate will possess:
* At least 3 years within FMCG, 2 of these in a management capacity.
* A proven track record in the coaching, developing or mentoring of sales representatives or merchandisers.
* Exposure to planning, development and implementation of sales strategies and execution of national directives.
* A strong work ethic and passion for the success of the brand.
* An engaging, entrepreneurial personality with a natural ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
