Job Description Reporting to the Financial Controller and working across the entire business this is a key role within the organisation. You will take responsibility for the management of Information Technology ensuring that the technical environment is aligned to local and national business objectives. This will require analysing the needs of the organisation and develop technology solutions to exceed those needs, whilst utilising the capabilities of strategic business partners and vendors. Furthermore you will be accountable for resource allocation, budgets, reporting and ensuring consistent services across the business are being met. This role will see you operationally ensure the current technical environment become more efficient and standardised. Possessing a hands-on approach you will also supervise a small team whilst also scoping, managing and delivering multiple projects. The Successful Applicant To be successful you will be degree qualified within IT, and studying towards MCSE, or CCNA with a strong technical background preferably within Infrastructure. Critical to your success will be the ability to work in a hands on capacity, and genuine desire to work both autonomously and within a team. You will also possess experience in driving projects particularly from an Infrastructure background. Working knowledge of Citrix, Windows 2003/2008, Exchange 2007, SQL Server 2008, Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system within a multi-site environment. Strong communication skills are imperative, as is the ability to build relationships across different levels. Own car is essential.
