Our client is an industry leader in providing power generation services to a range of industries both locally and internationally. With the growth in size and complexity of resource projects, our clients has the skills, experience and resources to ensure they are always staying ahead of their competitors in providing comprehensive services. They presently require the services of an experienced Supply Manager to work on a range of Energy Construction Projects. This role will be based out of our client's North Ryde office and is an immediate requirement working on a long-term basis. Position Accountabilities (but not limited to): * Implementation and developement of procurement methodologies, procedures and systems. * Oversee the tendering of documents (quoation, tender request, scope of work and contracts Ts & Cs) * Supervision of expediting and inspection of supply items and contracts during execution. * Liaise with suppliers and companies and maintain awareness of market conditions. The successful candidate MUST have: * Min 8-10 yrs specific Supply Management experience within an Engineering / EPCM environment. * Demonstrated project experience within the Power, Construction and/or Resource Sectors. * Knowledge in Power construction practices highly regarded. * Strong commercial and negotiation skills. * Effective written and verbal communication skills. * An Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residency. * Applicants without valid working rights in Australia need NOT apply.
