You will play a key role in the achievement of profit targets, management of day-to-day product priorities and development of individual project strategies. You will be involved with development, implementation and management of product plans and propositions and ensuring that volume, reporting sales and revenue targets are met. Working for this market leader in the provision of financial services surrounding customer acquisition and credit risk, who also assist clients to protect themselves against identity fraud is seeking to recruit a Product Manager in a specialist business unit, for their North Sydney offices. Other duties will include: - Day-to-day product management
- Management of product and delivery channel support issues
- Product profitability and reporting
- Campaign input & customer experience advocacy
- Product development and enhancement as well as product plan management for the product lifecycle
- Relationship management both internally and externally
- Stakeholder management
- Market research and competitor analysis
- Provide support to the Sales channel
- Devlop product marketing and training collateral
- Development of project plans and systems analysis as well as operational risk analysis
In order to be successful in this role, you will need the following essential criteria: - A Graduate (Post-Graduate qualifications are also highly regarded.)
- At least 5 years experience of product management involved in the whole product life cycle
- Experience in B2B online service delivery as well as software development for the product
- Experience to map product lifecycle to software development lifecycle and manage prioritisation of features and benefits accordingly and in line with the business case
- A proven product management discipline and capability
- Product management experience gained from within a Banking/Financial Services environment or any other corporate environment such as Telco
- Strong business analysis skills proven through development identification of business issues and then solution provision
- An understanding of marketing issues in relation to the product
- First class communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to undertake corporate presentations
- Exposure to financial analysis and modelling in order to prepare budgets, forecasts and analytical reports as well as driving revenue and cutting costs where necessary
- Well developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise a demanding workload
