The purpose of this role is to provide specialist advice, direction and technical support to underwriters and Account Managers, to enable QBE to develop a profitable portfolio and deliver an excellent level of service to clients.
You will also utilise technical expertise and business acumen, display a willingness to either write or facilitate writing of business by identifying opportunities and providing innovative solutions to achieve profitable growth.
Key responsibilities:
Underwrite complex new business and renewals
Provide and deliver reports on actuarial data, budgets, profits, GWP, retention
Develop and implement product strategies at a regional level
Work with National Product Manager to implement specific initiatives
Continually maintain and understanding of market influences to identify growth opportunities
Position Requirements:
Portfolio management experience
Extensive underwriting experience
High level PC skills in particular, Excel
Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
