If you have 6-12 months recruitment experience and are looking to enhance your skills in end-to-end recruitment, then this role is for you. 

Universal Recruitment is a Generalist Recruiter based on St. Kilda Road.  We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to develop their skills and take on more responsibility. 

Working alongside the Branch Manager for 3 months, your initial role will be to understand the operations of the business and the recruitment processes. After the initial training period you will be given the reigns to run your own desk. This will involve: 

• Initiating client meetings and picking up perm & temp job orders 
• Writing professional advertisements 
• Reviewing candidate applications 
• Conducting telephone interviews with prospective candidates 
• Conducting face-to-face interviews with suitable candidates 
• Shortlisting the highly suitable candidates to the client 
• Coordinating client interviews 
• Managing client & candidate feedback 
• Reference Checking 
• Developing new, prospective and existing clients 

This position is highly suited to a dedicated individual that is willing to learn and develop. You will have impeccable communication skills with the ability to manage both clients and candidates. Your ability to prioritise and use your time effectively is paramount and should come second-nature to you.
